A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A SECURITY
AGREEMENT FOR PUBLIC FUND DEPOSITS WITH SUNFLOWER BANK, N.A.
WHEREAS, the City of Salina deposits public funds in Sunflower
Bank, N.A. ; and
WHEREAS, Sunflower Bank, N.A. wishes to pledge collateral for the
City's deposits; and
WHEREAS, the requirements for a security agreement are outlined in
North Arkansas Medical Center v. Barrett; and
WHEREAS, a security agreement has been prepared by Sunflower
Bank, N.A. which meets the requirements set forth in North Arkansas Medical
Center v. Barrett; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign a security
agreement with Sunflower Bank N.A.
