A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THREE
AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS; UNION PACIFIC
RAILROAD COMPANY; AND, THE SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION OF THE
STATE OF KANSAS FOR THE REHABILITATION OF RAILROAD CROSSINGS ON
SANTA FE AVENUE (PROJECT NO. 85 X-1795-01; STP -X179(501)); OHIO
STREET (PROJECT NO. 85 X-1794-01; STP -X179(401)); AND, NINTH STREET
(PROJECT NO. 85 X-1779-01; STP -X177(901)).
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute three
agreements between the City of Salina, Kansas; Union Pacific Railroad
Company; and, the Secretary of Transportation of the State of Kansas for the
rehabilitation of railroad crossings on Santa Fe Avenue (Project No. 85
X-1795-01; STP -X 179(501)) ; Ohio Street ( Project No. 85 X-1794-01;
STP -X179(401)); and, Ninth Street (Project No. 85 X-1779-01; STP -X177(901)).
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
18th day of July, 1994.
