Section 1: That Section 15 of Ordinance No. 66134of
the City of Salina, Kansas, be, and the sane is, hereby amended
to read as follows:
Section 15. SPECIAL CLASSES. Any of the followin7
uses may be located in any district by special permission of the
3oard, under such condition as the 3oard may impose, and after
Public hearing, provided that in their jud?ment such use will not
seriously injure the appropriate use of the nei?hboring pronerty,
and will conform to the general intent and purpose of this
Ordinance, and shall comply with the height and area regulations
of the district in which they may be located.
1. Amusement narks, commercial baseball or athletic
fields, race tracks, circuses, carnivals or fair-
grounds,
2. aviation fields or airports,
i3. 3eauty and 3arber Shoes (single operator shoos with
no assistants, located in residenti: l areas only) ,
4. Cemeteries, mausoleums, or crematories for the
disposal of the human dead,
S. Coffee Roasting,
6. Drive-in Theatres,
7. Golf driving ran7es, commercial or illuminated,
i 8. tun clubs, skeet shoots or tar7et ranges,
0. Hospitals for the insane or feeble minded, or
1 penal or correctional institutions,
10. Nursery Schools,
11. Quarries, eines, sand or Travel nits or excavations
for the nurnose of removing, screeninn, crushi.n-,
washing or storage of ore, clay, stone, gavel or

similar materials ; provided, however, that no
permit ,hall be issued until and unless the site

necessary for public convenience or welfare,
21. Junk vards, including storage, sorting-, balins� or
processing of rags, paper or metal.
Section 2: Section 15 of Ordinance No. 66131of the Code
of the City of Salina, Kansas, and all other ordinances or norti_on
thereof in conflict herewith are herebv repealed.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its adoption and publication in the of -ficial
