6846 Zone Walnut StreetCONSOLIDATED-SALSNA ORDINANCE NUMBER (Published in The Salina Journal Ge , 1965) AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 6613 and the Zoning District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property within the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof. WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map, the rezoning of certain land therein, hereinafter described has been timely complied with, and SO NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "F". LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 6613, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit: Rezoning of the following property: Beginning at a point on the west right-of-way line of U.S. Highway 81 which point is 980 feet south of the center line of Walnut Street, thence southerly along the west right-of-way line of U.S. Highway 81, 218 feet, thence westerly parallel with the center line of Walnut Street to the east line of Smithere Street, thence northerly along the east line of Smithere Street 218 feet, thence easterly parallel with the center line of Walnut Street to the place of beginning, all in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, to District "F" (Light Industrial District) shall become a part of District "F".Light Industrial District. That the use of said described property shall be subject to all conditions, restrictions, and limitations as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 6613 with reference to the Light Industrial District. Section 2. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "D". LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kasnsas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 6613, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit: Rezoning of Lot 4, except the west 24 feet; and Lot 5, except the west 133 feet; and all of Lot 6, all in Block 1, Replat of Beebe's Second Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas from District "C" (Apartment District) to District "D" (Local Business District). shall become a part of District "D". Local Business District. That the use of said described property shall be subject to all conditions, restrictions, and limitations as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 6613 with reference to the Local Business District. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
