FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF SAID CITY TWO
PROPOSITIONS TO ISSUE THE GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF SAID CITY, TO -WIT:

OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS, AND THE BOARD OF

Section 1. That a special election shall be held and the
same is hereby called to be held in the City of Salina, Kansas, on t
February 23, 1965, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified
electors of said City the following propositions to issue the general
I obligation bonds of said City:

1 Shall the following be adopted:

general obligation bonds of said City in the

Section 2. That the Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the
City of Salina, Kansas, or a majority of them, are hereby authorized and
directed to call said election and to give notice thereof, such notice
to be published in The Salina Journal, a newspaper printed and of general,
circulation in said City, once a week for three consecutive weeks, the
first publication to be not less than twenty-one days prior to said
election.
Section 3. That said election on the foregoing propositions
shall be held at the following polling places in said City:

of Salina, Kansas, shall be entitled to vote at said election.

Section 7. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to prepare and cause to be printed ballots substantially in the
form hereinbefore provided and also to procure the necessary tally sheets
and poll books for use at said election, and said election shall be held
in accordance with the provisions of the statutes of the State of Kansas
and the ordinances of said City applicable thereto.
Section 8. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and its publication once in The Salina
i Journal, the official City newspaper.
