A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION AS A I'
L MEMBER OF THE HERITAGE COMMISSION.
W WHEREAS, Section 2(c)of Resolution Number 17-7469 calls for Citizen Board member appointments
to be made by resolution submitted by the Mayor to the full City Commission for final approval; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance Number 91-9433, Section 1, identifies that membership of the Heritage
Commission shall include a member of the Planning Commission;
WHEREAS, on January 16, 2024 the Planning Commission voted to nominate Tom Sydow for
appointment as a member of the Heritage Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. The following member of the Planning Commission, as proposed by the Mayor of the
City of Salina, are appointed to the designated board for the term indicated:
Heritage Commission
Tom Sydow, Planning Commission member, appointed to August 31St, 2024.
• Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 12th day of February, 2024.
