WHEREAS, on July 20, 1994 the Salina Airport Authority Board of
Directors adopted a resolution determining it necessary to levy a tax of 1.9
mills for 1994 for the purpose of making capital improvements at the Salina
Municipal Airport and Salina Airport Industrial Center during 1995; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with K.S.A. 27-322(a) , the Salina Airport
Authority Board of Directors has requested the consent of the Governing Body
of the City of Salina to such tax levy, SO NOW THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That pursuant to K.S.A. 27-322(a) , the Governing
Body of the City of Salina, Kansas consents to the levy of a tax of 1.90 mills
on each dollar of assessed valuation of the property within the City of Salina,
Kansas for the year 1994 for the purpose of making capital improvements
outlined in the July 20, 1994 resolution of the Salina Airport Authority Board
of Directors during its 1995 budget year.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
8th day of August, 1994
