AN ORDINANCE levying special assessments against certain property to pay the cost of
disconnecting the water service lines, located at the following property, to -wit:
So. 30 ft. of W 130 ft. of Lot 14, Surveyors Plat G

WHEREAS, the Waterworks Department caused to be notified the owner of the property,
hereinafter described, to disconnect said water service line and make necessary repairs.
WHEREAS, the owner of the property hereinafter described, after proper notice, did not
disconnect the water service line, nor make the necessary repairs; so, in accordance with
Section 30-111 of The Code of the City of Salina, Kansas 1960, the Waterworks Department
has disconnected the service and the cost thereof has been ascertained; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby levied and assessed against the lots
hereinafter described an assessment for the purpose of paying the cost of disconnecting
water service lines, taxable against the following described lots in the amounts set
opposite said lots:
So. 30 ft. of W 130 ft. of Lot 14, Surveyors Plat G 36.32
No. 40 ft. of So. 70 ft. of W 130 ft. Lot 14 Surveyors Plat G 36.32 f!
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed and authorized to certify said
assessments to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, to be placed on the tax roll for
collection, in one installment, starting with the year 1966, and subject to the same
penalties and collected in like manner as other taxes.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
