6897 ZoneCONSOLIDATED -SALIVA � ORDINANCE NUMBER (Published in The Salina Journal T , 1965) i AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 6613 and the Zoning District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property within the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof. WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map, the rezoning of certain land therein, hereinafter described has been timely complied with, and SO NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "DD". OFFICE DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 6613, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit: Lot 1, Block 3, Riverdale Addition, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the South Half (S2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -14) of said Section Thirteen (13), said point being the center line of the Ohio Street right-of-way in Salina, Kansas, thence on an assumed bearing of N 890 27' 25" West along the North line of the South Half (S2) of the Southeast Quarter (SEI -4) of said Section Thirteen (13), a distance of 850 feet; thence S 00 09' 13" East, a distance of 295.70 feet; thence S 890 27' 25" East, a distance of 300.00 feet to the point of beginning; thence S 00 09' 13" East a distance of 485 feet, more or less, to the center line of the Smoky Hill River; thence easterly along the center line of the Smoky Hill River to the point of intersection of said center line and the East line of the Southeast Quarter (SE -14) of said Section Thirteen (13), thence N 00 09' 13" West along the east line of said Southeast Quarter (SEI -4) a distance of 76.9 feet more or less, thence N 890 27' 25" West, a distance of 550.00 feet to the point of beginning, said area containing 2.7 acres, more or less, exclusive of the east 50.00 feet of the above described land now used for Ohio Street right-of-way. shall become a part of District "DD". OFFICE DISTRICT. That the use of said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions, and limitations as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 6613 with reference to the Office District, as aforesaid. Section 2. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "C". APARTMENT HOUSE DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 6613, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit: Lot 2, Block 3, Riverdale Addition, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast Corner of the South Half (S2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of said Section Thirteen (13), said point being the center line of the Ohio Street right-of-way in Salina, Kansas; thence on an assumed bearing of N 890 27' 25" West, along the north line of the South Half (S2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -4) of said Section Thirteen (13), a distance of 850.00 feet; thence S 00 09' 13" East, a distance of 295.70 feet; to the point of beginning thence S 00 09' 13" East a distance of 602 feet more or less to the center line of the Smoky Hill River; thence Northeasterly along the center line of the Smoky Hill River to the East line of the tract herein described; thence N 00 09' 13" West, a distance of 485 feet, more or less; thence N 890 27' 25" West, a distance of 300.00 feet to the point of beginning, and containing 3.9 acres, more or less. shall become a part of District "C". APARTMENT HOUSE DISTRICT . That the use of said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions, and limitations as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 6613 with reference to the Apartment House District, as aforesaid. r CONSOLIDATED-SALINA 1 Section 3. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 6613, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit: Lot 3, Block 3, Riverdale Addition, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast Corner of the South Half (S2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of said Section Thirteen (13), said point being the center line of the Ohio Street right-of-way in Salina, Kansas; thence on an assumed bearing of North 890 27' 25" West, along the north line of the South Half (S11) of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of said Section Thirteen (13), a distance of 850.00 feet; thence south 00 09' 13" East, a distance of 295.70 feet to the point of beginning; thence North 890 27' 25" West a distance of 300.00 feet; thence South 00 09' 13" East, a distance of 170.04 feet; thence to the right on a curve having a radius of 672.87 feet an arc length of 207.67 feet to the end of the curve; thence South 170 31'48" West, a distance of 85 feet, more or less, to the center line of the Smoky Hill River; thence southeasterly along the center line of the Smoky Hill River to the East line of the tract herein described; thence North Oo 09' 13" a distance of 602 feet; more or less, to the point of beginning, said area containing 4.1 acres, more or less. shall become a part of District "C". APARTMENT 'HOUSE DISTRICT. That the use of said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions, and limitations as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 6613 with reference to the Apartment House District, as aforesaid. Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
