AND OTHER ADVERTISING MATTER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TME COW]MITTNG BODY Or THE CITY OF SALINA,
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for anv person or persons,
as principal or anent, to place or cause to be placed, any hand-
bills, circulars, cards, nosters , leaflets, pamphlets, booklets,
showbills or other advertising matter in, or attach the same upon
anv Dart of any motor veh.i.cle, while such motor vehicle is in use
upon the streets or standin7 narked upon the streets or public
oarkin7 lots of the city: Provided, that this section shall not
be construed to prevent the officers or employees of the City from
nd provided further, that this section shall not
so doinn for anv municipal purpose: be construed to include regular advertising
done in public conveyances.
Section 2 . It shall be unlawful for an,.,,per. son or persons,
as principal or went, to throw or scatter an,,r handbills, circul-
ars, posters, cards, leaflets, namnhlets, booklets or anv other
advertisin7 matter upon anv vard, stoop or porch: Provided, this
ordinance shall not apply to newspapers, ma7azines, or periodicals
for which the occupant of the premises has requested such deliverv.
Section 3. Any person, firm or cor. novation violatinc, an,? of--

the Provisions of this ordinance shall upon conviction thereof,
be punished b�.T fine of not less than $5.00 nor more than 3100.00:
Provided, that each day that such violation shall cont`.nur� shall
constitute a separate offense hereunder.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its official Publication as provided by law.
