ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE DEFINING THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF
THE PUBLIC OFFICER FOR THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE MINIMUM HOUSING
CODE OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS; AMENDING SEC. 16-19 OF THE
SALINA CODE AND REPEALING SAID ORIGINAL SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS:
Section 1. That Sec. 16-19 of the Salina Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Sec. 16-19. Responsibility for Enforcement.
There is hereby created the office of Public
Officer who is hereby authorized and directed to en-
force all of the provisions of this code. The City
Manager may also appoint such number of inspectors
and other employees as may be necessary from time to
time or he may deputize such employees as may be neces-
sary to carry out the functions required for the
enforcement of this codec
Section 3. That Sec. 16-19 of the Salina Code is hereby
repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its adoption and publication in the official city
paper.
Adopted by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas,
and approved by the Mayor this c5 day ofL_7_, 1967.
