ORDINANCE NO. 6 c
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT EVERY DWELLING WITHIN THE CITY
SHALL HAVE SUPPLIED WATER HEATING FACILITIES INSTALLED; AMENDING
SEC. 16-66 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING SAID ORIGINAL SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS:
Section 1. That Sec. 16-66 of the Salina Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 16-66. Water Heating Facilities.
Every dwelling shall have supplied water heating
facilities which are installed in an approved manner
and are maintained and operated in a safe and good
working condition and are properly connected with the
hot water lines to the kitchen sink, lavatory and bath
tub or shower, except as otherwise specified under
Sec. 16-70."
Section 2. That Sec. 16-66 of the Salina Code is hereby
repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its adoption and publication in the official city
paper.
Adopted by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas,
and approved by the Mayor this day of May, 1967.
