A14 ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE STORAGE, DISPLAY, SALE, DIS-
CHARGE OR STORAGE OF FIREWORKS WITHIN THE CITY OR T1ITIHIN ONE
HUNDRED FEET FROTH THE CITY LIMITS; AMENDING SECTION 12-126 OF
THE SALIVA CODE AND REPEALING SAID ORIGINAL SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS:
Section 1. That Section 12-126 of the Salina Code is here-
by amended to read as follows:

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its adoption and publication in the official city
paper.
Adopted by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas,
and approved by the Mayor this

Section 12-126. Nuisance Declared; Abatement:
The possession, storing, displaying for sale, selling,
offering for sale, giving away, discharging, firing or
using of any of the fireworks, pyrotechnics or other
articles mentioned in 12-119 at any place within the
citv or within one hundred feet from the city limits of
the city by any person, is hereby declared to be a
nuisance and any such nuisance may be abated by in-
junction or otherwise as provided for in K.S.A. 13-1417;
Provided, that the remedy provided for in this section
is in addition to the penalty for violation of this
division.
Section 2. That Section 12-126 of the Salina Code is hereby
repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its adoption and publication in the official city
paper.
