ORDINANCE NO. t '�/' 45737
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SALINA AIRPORT AUTHORITY, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS, AUTHORIZING THE
ISSUANCE OF $790,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF SAID AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to proceedings duly had by Salina Airport
Authority, Saline County, Kansas, said Authority has duly adopted
a resolution directing the sale of $790,000 general obligation bonds
of said Authority, and
WHEREAS, bids for the purchase of said bonds have been
duly received and the governing body of said Authority has duly
adopted a resolution authorizing the issuance of said bonds on
January 23, 1967 and has forwardeda certified copy of said resolution
to the Mayor of the City of Salina, Kansas, all as provided for by
K.S.A. 27-323.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF
THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas, hereby unconditionally approves the resolution of the Board
of Directors of Salina Airport Authority, Saline County, Kansas,
authorizing the issuance of $790,000 general obligation bonds of
said Authority designated Series of 1967 dated February 1, 1967,
all as provided for by the resolution of said Board of Directors
duly adopted on January 23, 1967.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in effect from
and after its publication in the official City newspaper.
Passed by the governing body of the City of Salina, Kansas
this 30th day of January, 1967.
