ORDINANCE NUMBER'

AN ORDINANCE providing for the inclusion of certain land within the corporate limits of the
City of Salina, Kansas.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to the inclusion of certain land in the City of Salina,
Kansas, have come to pass, and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Petition by property owner has been filed on a tract of land so
situated that the boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate
limits of the City of Salina, Kansas, described as follows:
An addition to the corporate limits of the City of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Euclid Avenue a
distance of 159.6 feet west of the East 4 corner of Section 2,
Township 14 South, Range 3 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian;
thence north 395 feet, more or less, to a point in the center
line of the original channel of Dry Creek; thence northerly and
westerly following said Dry Creek Channel to its intersection with the
south line of the City Flood Control Right-of-way, this point being
480 feet north and 200 feet west, more or less, of the east 4 corner
of Section 2-14-3; thence west along the south line of the Flood
Control Right-of-way to a point 409.6 feet west and 476.46 feet
north of the East 4 corner of Section 2-14-3; thence south a
distance of 476.46 feet to the center line of Euclid Avenue being
the 4 Section Line; thence east along the center line of Euclid
Avenue a distance of 250 feet to the point of beginning.
Be and the same is hereby included within the City Limits of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
