ORDINANCE NUMBER 7072

AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 6613 and the Zoning
District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property
within the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map, the rezoning
of certain land therein, hereinafter described has been timely compliedi,with, and SO NOW,
THEREFORE Y
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "D". LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the Zoning
District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of
Ordinance Number 6613, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property
be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
A tract of land lying in the North Half (N12) of the
Southeast Quarter (SE/4) of Section Thirteen, Tovinshil
Fourteen South, Range Three blest (13-14-3) of the Six
Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, describes
as follows: beginning at an iron bar which marks the
Northeast Corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section
13; thence south 0°34'05" west on an assumed bearing
along the East line of the Southeast Quarter of said
Section 13, a distance of 1319.93 feet to the South-
east Corner of the North Half of the Southeast Ouartei
of said Section 13; thence north'89°27'25" west alon(
the South line of the North Half of said Southeast
Quarter, a distance of 1189.00 feet; thence north
0°00'00' east a distance of 53.82 feet to the begin-
ning of a curve; thence to the left on a curve havine
a radius of 315.57 feet, an arc length of 137.78 feet
to the end of the curve; thence north 65°00'00" west
a distance of 60.00 feet; thence north 0°00'00" east
a distance of 190 feet, more or less, to the centerlii
of the Smoky Hill 'liver; thence northeasterly and the
northerly along the centerline of the Smoky Hill Rives
to the point of intersection of said centerline and ti
North line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 1:
thence north 90°00'00" east along the North line of
said Southeast Quarter a distance of 864 feet, more o+
less,.te the point of beginning, said area containing
twenty-eight and four -tenths acres '(28.4 A), more or
less, exclusive of the east 50.00 feet of the above
described land now used for Ohio Street Right-of-way
and exclusive of the north 30.00 feet of the above
described land now used for Greeley Avenue Right -of
way.

shall become a part of District "D". LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the use of said described
property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions, and limitations as made and
provided for in said Ordinance Number 6613 with reference to the Local Business District,
as aforesaid.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
