BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, K nsas: Section 1. That Section 6-22 of The Salina Code is hereby am i nded to read as follows: Sec. 6-22. Consuming in Public Places. Within the corporate limits of the City, it shall be unlwful �ublic for any person to drink or consume alcoholic liquor upon the streets, alleys, roads or highways, or in beer parlors, taverns, pool halls, or places to which the general public has access, whether or an admission or other fee is charged or collected, or upon prope�ot ty owned by the State or other governmental subdivision thereof,!or inside vehicles while upon the public streets, alleys, roads r highways; provided however, the limitation aforesaid shall no apply to real property leased by the City to others under the, provisions of Section 12-1740 to 12-1749, inclusive of the Kansas Statutes Annotated. Section 2. Section 6-22 of The Salina Code is hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force 'from and after its adoption and publication in the official city paper.
