AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE CONSUMPTION OF CEREAL MALT BEVERAGES
ON THE
PUBLIC
STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS:
AMENDING SECTION
6-49 OF THE SALINA
CODE AND
REPEALING SAID ORIGINAL SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing
Body of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 6-49 of
The Salina Code is
hereby amended
to
read as
follows:
Sec. 6-49. Consuming in Public Streets:
Within the corporate limits
of the City, it shall
be unlawful
to drink or consume cereal malt
beverages upon the
public streets,
alleys, roadways or highways, or
inside any vehicle
while upon
the
public streets, alleys, roads, or
highways.
Section 2. Section 6-49 of The
Salina Code is hereby
repeal�ed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall
take effect and be
in force, from and
after its
adoption and publication in the official city
paper.
