AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, INCONFORMITY WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 1967 Supp. 12-520.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
A tract of land in the Southwest corner of the Southea�t
Quarter (SE 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of
Section One (1), Township 14 South, Range 3 West of
the Sixth Principal Meridian, Saline County, Kansas,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest (SW) corner of the Southeas
Quarter (SE 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of
said Section One (1), being the intersection of Fifth
Street and Euclid Avenue;
Thence east along the south line of said Northwest Qua ter
(NW 1/4) of Section One (1), a distance of three hundr d
thirty feet (330') to the center line of Fourth Street
Thence north along the center line of Fourth Street
extended north for a distance of five hundred ten feet
(510') to the center line of the Salina Flood Protection
Dike;
Thence west along said center line of the Flood Protection
Dike a distance of three hundred thirty feet (330') tolthe
west line of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of the
Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of said Section One (1);
Thence south along the west line of said Southeast Quarter
(SE 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section Cne
(1) a distance of five hundred twelve feet (512') to the
point of beginning.
Containing three and eighty-seven hundredth acres (3.8)
more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K. S. A. 1967 Supp.
12-520 is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansa
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force] from and after its
publication in the official city newspaper.
