ORDINANCE NUMBER 7028
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CERTAIN LICENSE FEES FOR CERTAIN TIRADES, OCCUPATIONS,
BUSINESSES IN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 20-50; 20-II57; 20-58; 20-59;
20-68; and 20-69 AND REPEALING SAID ORIGINAL SECTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA,',KANSAS:
Section 1. That the following sections of The Salina Code are hereby amended
to read as follows:
Section 20-50. Ice Cream Vendors. Vendors selling ice cream
and soft drinks from vehicles Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) per year.
Section 20-57. Pawnbrokers. Pawnbrokers or loaners of money
in pledged security or property, or purchases of personal property
granting options of repurchase, One Hundred Dollars ($100.0) per year.
Section 20-58. Pinball. marble
amusement devices. For the
operation of any pinball game, marble table game, marble game, amusement
device and similar games and devices, whether operated in whole or in
part by hand or by sight or by photo -electric cell, Twenty-five Dollars
($25.00) per year on each machine operated for any length of time
each year.
Section 20-59. Photographers, Itinerant. Itinerant or transient
photographers soliciting business or taking pictures and selling the
same in the city, Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) per week.
Section 20-68. Theaters, Drive -In Theaters and Opera Mouses.
Theaters, drive-in theaters, or opera houses, One Hundred Dollars
($100.00) per year.
Section 20-69. Vehicle Auction at Wholesale. Persons, firms
or corporations, either as principal, officer, agent, servant or
employee engaged in the business of selling at auction wholesale
new or used automobiles or trucks, One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
per year.
Section 2. That Section 20-50; 20-57; 20-58; 20-59; 20-68; and 20-69 of The
Code of Salina, Kansas, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in ford from and after its
adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
