A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BUSINESS
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 BOARD OF ADVISORS AND THE BUSINESS
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 BOARD OF DESIGN REVIEW.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has established through Resolution
Number 88-4016, amended by Resolution Number 90-4160, a policy regarding
appointments and administration of the citizen boards system; and
WHEREAS, Section 2(c) of Resolution Number 88-4016 calls for
appointments to be made by Resolution submitted by the Mayor to the full City
Commission for final approval; and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on certain citizens boards,
commissions and committees; SO NOW, THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. The following persons, as proposed by the Mayor of the
City of Salina, are hereby appointed to the designated citizen boards for the l
term indicated:
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1
BOARD OF ADVISORS
Suzanne Hokett, reappointed for a 3 year term to
August 31, 1997.
John F. Burgess, reappointed for a 3 year term
to August 31, 1997.
Alan Gebhart, appointed to succeed Michael W. Catlin
for a 3 year term to August 31, 1997.
Bob Begnoche, appointed to succeed Adley E. Johnson
for a 3 year term to August 31, 1997.
A. H. (Andy) Anderson, appointed to fill the
unexpired term of Gayland Gaut to August 31,
1996.
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1
BOARD OF DESIGN REVIEW
Fred Elliott, reappointed for a 3 year term
to August 31, 1997.
R. A. (Abner) Perney, appointed to succeed Robert
L. Constable for a 3 year term to August 31,
1997.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
19th day of September, 1994.
