A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING VARIOUS FEES FOR SERVICES IN
THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS.
WHEREAS, the City of Salina provides many specific services for the
Citizens of Salina; and
WHEREAS, specific individuals benefit from said services; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate public policy to require specific
individuals benefitting from specific services to pay all or a portion of the
cost of such services; and
WHEREAS, Salina Code Section 2-2 provides that the Board of
Commissioners shall determine, by resolution, all license fees, permit fees and
other user related fees or charges established by the ordinances of the City; SC
NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That, effective November 1, 1994, the following fees
charged by the City of Salina, under the Comprehensive Fee Schedule, adopted
by Resolution Number 94-4688, are hereby amended for the following license
categories:
Article II1, City Clerk, LICENSES:
ADD:
Private Refuse Hauler - Transfer $10.00
Article XI, Miscellaneous:
AMEND:
Open Record Research/Copy Charges:
Copy fees (add time charge, if appropriate) :
1 - 10 copies No charge
11 and over $.10 per copy
Non -city equipment expense Actual cost
Research time: $15.00 per hour
first 5 minutes No charge
6 - 10 minutes $2.50
each 10 minutes thereafter $2.50
(round to nearest 10 minutes)
Section 2. That the Comprehensive Fee Schedule shall be amended to
reflect the fee changes set forth in Section 1.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
24th day of October, 1994.
