A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
LEASE FOR COMPUTER HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE.
WHEREAS, the City of Salina's centralized computer system requires
upgrading from a model D 60 to a model 310; and
WHEREAS, the City may make such upgrade for an amount not to
exceed $389,355; and
WHEREAS, financing the acquisition of the upgrade using a three
year Iease is a viable alternative for the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wants to delegate the execution of
the lease to the City Manager; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the City Manger is hereby authorized to execute
a three year Iease for the acquisition of computer hardware and software in an
amount not to exceed $11,900 per month.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this Vh day of November, 1994.
