AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 1967 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE AND ALL
APPENDICES, EXCEPT AS MODIFIED BY CHAPTER 9 of THE SALINA CODE, AND REPEALING THE ORIGINAL
SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 9-200 of The Salina Code is hereby amended to read
as follows:
Sec. 9-200. Code Adopted.
In order to protect the public health and safety of the
city through the establishment of minimum regulations for
the installation, alteration and repair and maintenance of
plumbing and drainage systems, the provisions of the 1967
Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code and all Appendices
thereto of the International Association of Plumbing and
Mechanical Officials are hereby incorporated by reference
herein and adopted as the plumbing code of the City,
except as modified by Article VII, Chapter 9 of The Salina
Code.
Section 2. Section 9-200 of The Salina Code is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
