ORDINANCE NO. 7077
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 1967 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM PLUMB-
ING CODE OF THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PLUMBING AND MECHANICAL
OFFICIALS, AMENDING SEC. 9-260 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING
THE ORIGINAL SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS:
Section 1. That Sec. 9-260 of the Salina Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 9-260. Code Adopted.
in order to protect the public health and safety
of the city through the establishment of minimum regul-
ations for the installation, alteration and repair and
maintenance of plumbing and drainage system, the provis-
ions of the 1967 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code
of the International Association of Plumbing and Mechan-
ical Officials, are hereby incorporated by reference
herein and adopted as the plumbing code of the city,
except as modified by Article VIZ, Chapter 9 of the
Salina Code."
Section 2. Sec. 9-260 of the Salina Code is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its adoption and publication in the official
city paper.
Adopted by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas,
and approved by the Mayor this 12th day of August, 1968.
