AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO ASSAULT; AMENDING SECTIOW 23-147 OF THE SALINA CODE AND
REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. Section 23-147 of The Salina Code is horeby amended to read as
follows:
''Section 23-147. Assault
Any person who shall intentionally threaten or attempt
to do bodily harm to another coupled with the apparent
ability and resulting in the immediate apprehension of
bodily harm shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.''
Section 2. Section 23-147 of The Salina Code is h¢reby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
