ORDINANCE NUMBER 8105

AN ORDINANCE ENACTING SECTION 23-114 OF THE SALINA CODE, PROVIDING THAT IT SHALL
BE UNLAWFUL TO LOITER OR TRESPASS ON CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 23-114 of The Salina Code, be enacted as follows:
''Section 23-114. Unlawful for any Person to�Loiter or Trespass
(a) Every person who shall loiter or ttespass on or about
the premises and grounds of any public or private school; of the
public library; or around any assembly of perrsons at school or
public activities or athletic events whether or not such events
are being conducted by public or private school authorities,
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
(b) Every person or student who is notjregularly enrolled
in a public or private school; or who has been suspended or
dismissed from a public or private school; or who persists in
staying or remaining on or about said premises or grounds
without any lawful purpose shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.''
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
