AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a portion of SHALIMAR DRIVE within the City of
Salina, Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
I
Section 1. That a portion of SHALIMAR DRIVE, a p blic street in the City of
Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows:
All of that portion of Shalimar Drive which lies between
the north line of Wayne Avenue and the north line of
Mayfair Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas.
be and the same is hereby vacated; provided, however, that the City reserves the right to
construct, repair and maintain sewers, water lines, electrics lines, telegraph lines, gas
lines and other utility lines in said street.
Section 2. That the above named portion of Shalimar Drive, which is vacated
by this ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owners in accordance with K. S. A.
13-553.,
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
