AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING AND RATIFYING A CONTRACT WITH RURAL WATER DISTRICT NO. 3,
SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS, REGARDING THE FURNISHING OF WATER TO SAID WATER DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That that certain Water Purchase Agreement entered into by and
between the City of Salina, Kansas, and Rural Water District No. 3, Saline County, Kansas,
relative to the furnishing of water to said district by the City of Salina, Kansas, be
and the same is hereby ratified, confirmed and approved.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said
agreement for and on behalf of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and
after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
