ORDINANCE NUMBER 8075

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING RATES TO BE CHARGED BY THE CITY OF SALINA FOR WATER
FURNISHED TO RURAL WATER DISTRICTS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. The Salina Code is hereby amended by adding a section to be numbered
Section 35-55 (4), which said section shall read as follows:
"Sec. 35-55(4). Rates for Rural Water Districts.
Any contract executed by the City to furnish water to
a rural water district organized pursuant to Article 6 of
Chapter 82a of the Kansas Statutes Annotated or any
amendments thereto shall specify that the rates to be
charged for said water furnished shall be one hundred
twenty-five (125%) percent of the rate specified in
Section 35-55 (1) for multiple uses through a single
meter or battery of meters as provided in Section 35-44
or any amendments to either of said sections."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
