AN ORDINANCE annexing certain land to the City of Salina, Kansas, in conformity with the
provisions of K. S. A. 1967 Supplement 12-520.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
jSection 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
A tract of land located in the North Half of Section 19,
Township 14 South, Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal
Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point 412.39 feet east and 200 feet
south of the Northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter
of said Section;
Thence east a distance of 900 feet to a point 200 feet
south of the 1/16 corner on the 1/16 line;
Thence south along the 1/16 line on an interior angle
of 89° 09' 20'' a distance of 1495.07 feet to the low
water line of the Smoky Hill River;
Thence west and north along said low water line a distance
of 860 feet approximately, this point being 700 feet south
of the 1/16 line and 1240 feet south of the north section
line;
Thence northwesterly a distance of 1060 feet to the point
of beginning.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K. S. A. 1967
I' ISupplement 12-520 is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
