A RESOLUTION AMENDING ARTICLE VIII OF THE 2024 COMPREHENSIVE FEE
SCHEDULE OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS AS IT SETS THE FEES FOR
W RESIDENTIAL YARD WASTE
WHEREAS,the City of Salina's 2024 Comprehensive Fee Schedule was approved by the Governing
Body on September 11, 2023 with fee changes effective January 1, 2024; and

WHEREAS,the fees for residential yard waste were not specified and fees for uncovered or unsecured
loads of residential yard were not specified in the comprehensive fee schedule and have now been
added, SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. Article VIII of the Comprehensive Fee Schedule as it sets the following yard waste fees:
Residential Yard Waste $0.00 per vehicle;
Uncovered or unsecured loads of Residential Yard Waste $11.50 per vehicle
Section 2. The amended charges listed herein are subject to change in the future with the annual
review of the comprehensive fee schedules.
Section 3. The amended charges shall be effective January 1, 2024.
Section 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 23`d day of October, 2023.
