A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
CERTIFICATES OF RELEASE FROM ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION LIABILITY
TO CERTAIN PERSONS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City's Environmental Release Policy
relating to the Salina Public Water Supply Wells Site, applications for
Certificates of Release from Environmental Condition Liability have been
submitted by the following persons in relation to the real estate described as
follows:
A. Real Estate - Lot 20 on Kirwin Avenue in the Grounds of the
Kansas Wesleyan University, an addition to the City of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas.
B . Real Estate - Lot 49 on Santa Fe Avenue in the Grounds of the
Kansas Wesleyan University, an addition to the City of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas.
Applicant. - Kathleen A. Cheatum Thompson, Trustee of the Chester
N. Cheatum Trust.
C. Real Estate - Lot 143 and North one-half (1/2) of Lot 145 on
Santa Fe Avenue, Original Town of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas.
Applicant - S & B Marketing, Inc.
WHEREAS, the City staff has completed its administrative,
engineering, and legal review of the applications and has determined that the
applicants listed above qualify for release;
SO, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of
the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to execute
Certificates of Release from Environmental Condition Liability for the persons
listed above in relation to the real estate described.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 12th day of June, 1995. <
