A RESOLUTION REVISING AND APPROVING
AN ESTIMATE OF THE PROJECT COSTS OF
Waterworks Improvements -Job No. 85

WHEREAS, the City of Salina, kansas filed an application with
(Name of Applicant)
the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works for an allotment of funds to
aid in financing the construction of Elevated Storage Tank
(Project)
which application was approved and an allotment of funds made therefor by way of a
grant in the amount of 45% of the cost of the project upon completion, as deter-
mined by the Federal Emergency Administrator of Public Works, but not to exceed,
in any event, the sum of $ 32,700,00
WHEREAS, said application as approved by said Federal Emergency Administra-
tion of Public Works set out in full an estimate of the cost to be incurred in
the construction of the said project;
WHEREAS, on the basis of contract commitments it now becomes necessary to
revise said estimate of project costs:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Uity of Salina, Kansas
(Governing Body)
Section 1. The attached estimate of project costs revised as of the date of
the adoption of this resolution is found and determined to be true and correct
and is hereby approved.
Section 2. It is hereby found and determined that the City of Salina
(Name of Applicant)
Kansas has funds on hand or will be able to obtain funds from sources
indicated at the foot of the attached revised estimate to finance that portion of
the cost of the project not financed by the said grant allotment for this project.
Section 3. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to
forward seven certified copies of this resolution, together with seven copies
of the attached revised estimate of project costs, to the State Director of the
Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works.
