RESOLUTION NUMBER 604
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE PROPOSED WRITTEN GRANT AGREEMENT
SUBMITTED BY THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC WORKS, PURSUANT
TO THE ALLOWANCE OF THE APPLICATION BEARING FEDERAL EMERGENCY ADMINISTRA-
TION OF PUBLIC WORKS DOCKET NUMBER 4928, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER SAID AGREEMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
the County of Saline, State of Kansas, as follows:
Section 1. That the certain proposed written Grant Agreement
submitted by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works, to the
Board of Commissioners, pursuant to the allowance of the application
beating Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works Docket Number
4928, to be entered into by and between the City of Salina, of the County
of Saline, State of Kansas, and the United States of America, acting by
and through Harold L. Ickes, as Federal Emergency Administrator of
Public Works, be and the same is hereby, in all respects, approved and
accepted.
Section 2. That M. A. Stevenson, Mayor and Chas . F. Banker,
City Clerk, be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
agreement in the name and on behalf of the City of Salina and to deliver
the said agreement, so executed, to the said Federal Emergency Administrator
of Public Works .
Introduced April 14th, 1934.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
this 16thday of April 1934.
Approved this 16th day of April 1934.
