603 Selling and Reinvesting Bonds RESOLUTION NO . 603
A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the City Treasurer
to sell certain United States Government Bonds now in his
hands as a part of the Gypsum Hill Lot Owner' s Endowment
Fund, and to reinvest the proceeds thereof, with such addi-
tional money from such fund as may be necessary, in the pur-
chase of bonds of The City of Salina.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas :
That the City Treasurer of the City of Salina be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to sell at the current market
price $1,600 .00 par value of United States Govern'rent bonds now
in his hands as a part of The Gypsum Hill Lot Owners Endowment
Fund , in addition to $1,500.00 par value of such bonds which
have been called for payment by the United States Government in
accordance with the provisions of such bonds , and that the City
Treasurer reinvest the proceeds of all of such bonds , with such
additional sums now in said fund as may be required, in the pur-
chase of City of Salina Refunding Bonds , dated January 1, 1934,
issued in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No . 4332 ,
being Bonds No. 5 , 17, 49 and 62 , of the aggregate par value
of ` 4,000 .00 , such purchase to be at par and accrued interest
to date of purchase.
