"'HEREAS the State iighTLy Commission , ill obtain the
approval of the Secretary of Agriculture of a project for the
i::lprovement of 0.685 miles of US 81_
known as 9th St. & Pacific Ave._— and desi`nated as :I.c.ns+..s
State Project No. NRM 44 C , to be improved with funds
obtained under Section 204 of the National Recovery Act.
NOW THEREFORE, it is Resolved by the Commission
that in the event the above named project is approved and constructed
by the State Highway Commission as called for in the plans and
specifications, that the City of
Salina will each
year, at its own cost and expense, and subject to the provisions
as set out in Section 4, Chapter 241, 1:37 Session Lews, min-
i tain the project in a manner satisfactory to the Secretory of
Agriculture and the State Highway Commission.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners this 13th day of
December, 1933.
