RESOLUTION NO. 574
Accepting trust proposal of the Governor of Kansas
for the establishment and operation of a Federal
Kelief Fund from Federal Relief Funds, for the
payment of work relief wages on a Work Relief
Project entitled "Street Improvement and Repair."
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Salina, Kansas :
Section 1. That the Board of Commissioners
hereby accepts the proposal of the Governpr of Kansas
for the establishment and operation of a 'ederal
Relief Fund from Federal Relief Funds in the amount
of $2,500.00 for the payment of work relief wages
on work Relief Project Fund No. 14-5A entitled,
Street Improvement and Repair.
Section 2. That there is hereby established
a fun& to be entitled, "The Federal Relief Fund" , in
which the City Treasurer shall keep any monies com-
ing into:7his hands for such fund, and he shall keep it
in the same manner as he keeps the other funds of
the City, and he shall be liable for the safe-keeping
and proper ap.pl1,cation of said Federal Relief Funds
to the same extent as for the other funds of such
City. The financial officers of the City are hereby
directed and required to do all the things required
in the foregoing Governor 's proposal, and by the
rules and regulations of the Kansas Emergency Relief
Committee pertaining to the same.
