RESOLUTL:N NO. 551
Accepting trust proposal of the Governor of Kansas
for the establishment and operation of an emergency
relief fund from federal emergency relief funds,
for the payment of work relief wages on Work Relief
Project No. 14-15 entitled WMAftiel "1 Airport"Grading
at Drainage" .
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the Board of Commissioners hereby
accepts the proposal of 'the Governor of Kansas for the
establishment and operation of an Emergency Relief Fund
from federal emergency relief funds for the payment of
work relief wages on Work Relief Project No. 14-15
entitled "Municipal Airport Grading and Drainage."
Section 2. That there is hereby established a fund
to be entitled, "The Emergency Relief Fund" , in which
the City treasurer shall keep any monies coming into his
hands for such fund, and he shall keep it in the same
manner as he keeps the other funds of the City, and he
shall be liable for the safe-keeping and proper applica-
tion of said emergency relief funds to the same extent
as for the other funds of such city. The financial
officers of the city are )¢ereby directed and required
to do ail the things required in the foregoing Governor' s

proposal, and by the rules and regulations of the Kansas
Federal Relief Committee pertaining to the same.
