A RESOLUTION RELATING TO BENEFITS OBTAINABLE BY CITIES
UNDER THE PROGRAM FOR FEDERAL AID ON TRANSPORTATION
ENHANCEMENT PROJECTS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Salina, Kansas,
Supplemental No. 1, Agreement No. 9-94 between the City and Kansas
Department of Transportation, giving the Secretary of Transportation of the
State of Kansas authority to act for the City, and in its place and stead, to
obtain for the City such benefits as are obtainable under the Transportation
Enhancement Program under the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency
Act (ISTEA) of 1991, and obtain the benefits of such legislation for the City on
the terms and conditions set forth in such agreement as may be prepared and
approved by the Secretary of Transportation to construct a Limestone
Mixed -Use Pedestrian/Bicycle Path and known as Project No. 85 TE -0038-01
