ORDINANCE NUMBER 8173

AN ORDINANCE annexing certain land to the City of Salina, Kansas, in conformity with the
provisions of K. S. A. 1970 Supplement 12-520.
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
A tract of land located in the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of
Section Thirty-five (35), Township Thirteen (13) South, Range
Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline
County, Kansas, being more particularly described as follows:
1. Beginning at a point that is the northeast corner of the
Northwest Quarter (NW4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE4)
of Section Thirty-five (35), Township Thirteen (13) South,
Range Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian,
2. Thence south 566.3 feet to the north right-of-way line
of Interstate Highway 70,
3. Thence west along said north right-of-way line a distance
of 200.3 feet,
4. Thence north parallel to the east line of said Southeast
Quarter (SE4) a distance of 581.3 feet to the north line
of said Southeast Quarter (SE4)
5. Thence east 200 feet to the point of beginning.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K. S. A. 1970
Supplement 12-520 is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, and that all of
said annexed land shall be classed as lying and being in District "D", LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
