AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 6613 and the Zoning
District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property
within the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map, the rezoning
of certain land therein, hereinafter described has been timely complied with, and SO NOW,
THEREFORE, j
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "D". LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the Zoning
DISTRICT Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of
Ordinance Number 6613, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property
be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at the northwest corner of the East Half of the
Northeast Quarter of Section Twenty-six, Township 14 South,
Range Three West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, thence
East 400 feet more or less to the west line of the property
owned by the Board of Education of the City of Salina, Kansas,
upon which is located Hageman School, thence south along said
West property line to the North line of Charlotte Street extended,
thence West along said North line of Charlotte Street extended
to the East right-of-way line of U. S. Highway 81 By-pass,
thence Northwesterly along said U. S. Highway 81 By-pass
right-of-way to the center line of Hageman Street, thence
North of said center line of Hageman Street to the point of
beginning.
shall become a part of District "D". LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the use of said
described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and limitations
as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 6613, with reference to the LOCAL
BUSINESS DISTRICT.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That James C. McVay and Sarah Jane McVay,
husband and wife, Gail E. Sprague and Elizabeth Dale
Sprague, husband and wife, and C. N. Hoffman as executor
of the estate of Claire Dell Hoffman, do hereby grant,
dedicate and assign to the City of Salina, Kansas, for use
as a public pedestrian walkway the following described
tract bf land, to -wit:
'A tract of land located in the Northeast
w.� Quarter (NE/4) of Section 26, Township 14
South, Range 3 West of the Sixth Princi-
pal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas,
being more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at a point that is 400' (ft.)
east and 770' (ft.) south of the north-
west corner of the Northeast Quarter
(NE/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE/4)
of said Section 26, said point being the
southwest corner of the Hageman School
property; thence west 69' (ft.) more or
less to the east right-of-way line of
U. S. Highway 81; thence northwesterly
along said right-of-way line a distance
of 19.8' (ft.); thence east a distance
of 82' (ft.) more or less to a point on
the west line of the Hageman School property,
said point being 400' (ft.) east and 755'
(ft.) south of the northwest corner of
the Northeast Quarter (NE/4) of the
Northeast Quarter (NE/4) of said Section 26;
thence south a distance of 15' (ft.) to the
