ORDINANCE NUMBER 8143

AN ORDINANCE SPECIFYING THE LEGAL HOLIDAYS TO BE OBSERVED BY THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 2-58 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:

Section 1. That said Section 2-58 of The Salina Code is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"Section 2-58. Holidays.
The legal holidays to be observed by the City of Salina,
Kansas, shall be those which have been designated by the State
Legislature of Kansas in K. S. A. 1970 Supp. 35-107 as legal
public holidays."
Section 2. That the existing Section 2-58 of The Salina Code is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
