ORDINANCE NUMBER 8141

AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING DANCING IN ANY PLACE WHERE CEREAL MALT BEVERAGES ARE
SOLD AND PROVIDING EXCEPTIONS THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That The Salina Code is hereby amended by adding a section to be
numbered Section 6-61.1 which said section shall read as follows:
''Section 6-61.1. Dancinq Prohibited.
No dancing shall be permitted in any place of business
where cereal malt beverages are sold; provided however,
that the provisions of this section shall not apply if
the premises in which such business is conducted are also
currently licensed as a club under a license issued by the
State Director of Alcoholic Beverage Control.''
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
