AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PRIVATE ROOMS OR CLOSED BOOTHS BY BUSINESSES LICENSED
TO SELL CEREAL MALT BEVERAGES AND PROVIDING EXCEPTIONS THERETO; AMENDING SECTION 6-50
OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION.
follows:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 6-50 of The Salina Code is hereby amended to read as
''Section 6-50. Private Rooms and Closed Booths Prohibited.
No private rooms or closed booths shall be operated
in a place of business selling cereal malt beverages for
consumption on the premises; Provided that this provision
shall not apply if the licensed premises are also currently
licensed as a club under a license issued by the State
Director of Alcoholic Beverage Control.''
Section 2. That the existing Section 6-50 of The Salina Code is hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
