8138 Serve CMB1--0N SOLSDATr.D-SALXNA 1 rj ORDINANCE NUMBER 8138 (Published in The Salina Journal z 1971) AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PRIVATE ROOMS OR CLOSED BOOTHS BY BUSINESSES LICENSED TO SELL CEREAL MALT BEVERAGES AND PROVIDING EXCEPTIONS THERETO; AMENDING SECTION 6-50 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION. follows: BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That Section 6-50 of The Salina Code is hereby amended to read as ''Section 6-50. Private Rooms and Closed Booths Prohibited. No private rooms or closed booths shall be operated in a place of business selling cereal malt beverages for consumption on the premises; Provided that this provision shall not apply if the licensed premises are also currently licensed as a club under a license issued by the State Director of Alcoholic Beverage Control.'' Section 2. That the existing Section 6-50 of The Salina Code is hereby repealed. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper. (SEAL) Attest: �f.
