8255 ZoneDATED-SALINA 1 ORDINANCE_ NUMBER 8255 (Published in The Salina Journal rLjtw�xf 3 , 1972) AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 6613 and the Zoning District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property within the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof. WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map, the rezoning of certain land therein, hereinafter described has been timely complied with, and SO NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "D", LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 6613, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit: Tract # 2 - All that part of the East half (E2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of Section Thirty-five (35), Township Thirteen (13) South, Range Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, lying north of 1-70 and south of Diamond Drive. (Approx 6.5 acres) Tract # 3 - A tract of land lying in the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of Section Thirty-five (35), Township Thirteen (13) South, Range Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, being more particularly described as follows; Commencing at a nail in the asphalt overlay which identifies the Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of Section 35, T 13 S, R 3 W of the Sixth Principal Meridian; thence North 00°04' East on an assumed bearing and along the East line of said quarter section a distance of 1,203.90 feet; thence North 90000' West a distance of 400.00 feet to an iron bar at the intersection of the North right- of-way line of the Kansas Highway Commission channel change and the City Limits line; thence North 90000' West a distance of 443.52 feet along the North right-of-way line of said channel change, to an iron bar; thence North 00000' East a distance of 506.89 feet, to an iron bar on the South right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 70; thence South 80014' East along said right- of-way line a distance of 91.60 feet to an iron bar; thence South 59017' East along said right-of-way a distance of 411.01 feet, to an iron bar; thence South 00004' West along the City Limits line a distance of 281.41 feet to the point of beginning. (containing 4.17 acres, more or less) shall become a part of District "D", LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the use of said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and limitations as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 6613, with reference to the LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper. (SEAL) Attest: D. L.
