ORDINANCE NUMBER 8247

AN ORDINANCE PERMITTING THE POSTING OF POLITICAL SIGNS IN DISTRICT "AA"
UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, AMENDING SECTION 6 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 6613.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That The Salina Code is hereby amended by adding another
paragraph to Section 6 of Ordinance Number 6613 which said paragraph shall read
as follows:
"Section 6. District "AA" (First Dwelling House District)
(9) Political signs not exceeding eight (8) square
feet in area shall be permitted to be posted with
the consent of the owner and occupant of the
property; provided however, that said signs may
not be posted more than twenty-one (21) days
prior to any election and must be removed from
said property within three (3) days after said
election."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and Effect from and
after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
