AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE SIXTEENTH AND EIGHTEENTH
PRECINCTS OF THE FIRST WARD OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS: AMENDING SECTIONS
11-17 and 11-19 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 11-17 of The Salina Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:
''Section 11-17. Sixteenth Precinct described.
The Sixteenth Precinct of the First Ward shall
include all of that part of the First Ward as herein
defined which lies within the following described
boundaries, to -wit:
Commencing at the intersection of Prescott Avenue
and Ninth Street;
Thence south in Ninth Street to Crawford Street;
Thence west in Crawford Street 141 feet to the alley;
Thence south 200 feet in the alley;
Thence east 141 feet to Ninth Street;
Thence south in Ninth Street to Frost Street;
Thence west in Frost Street to Sherman Street;
Thence south in Sherman Street to Venango Street;
Thence west in Venango Street to the Missouri Pacific
Railroad tracks;
Thence north along the Missouri Pacific Railroad
tracks to Prescott Avenue;
Thence east in Prescott Avenue to the place of
beginning.''
Section 2. That Section 11-19 of The Salina Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:
''Section 11-19. Eighteenth Precinct described.
The Eighteenth Precinct of the First Ward shall
include all of that part of the First Ward as herein
defined, which lies within the following described
boundaries, to -wit:
Commencing at the intersection of Ninth Street and
Prescott Avenue;
Thence east in Prescott Avenue to Front Street;
Thence south in Front Street to Bond Street;
Thence west in Bond Street to Ninth Street;
Thence north in Ninth Street to a point 200 feet south
of Crawford Avenue;
Thence west 141 feet to the alley;
Thence north in the alley to Crawford Street;
Thence east 141 feet to Ninth Street;
Thence north in Ninth Street to the place of beginning.''
Section 3. That Sections 11-17 and 11-19 of The Salina Code are
hereby repealed.

Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
