8235 Levy Assessments[ATED SALINA- 1 1 1 ORDINANCE NUMBER 8235 (Published In The Salina Journal- q(,�`�t , 1972) AN ORDINANCE LEVYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS AGAINST CERTAIN PROPERTY TO PAY FOR THE COST OF THE DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURES LOCATED THEREON WHICH WERE ORDERED REMOVED OR DEMOLISHED BY THE PUBLIC OFFICER PURSUANT TO ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 16 OF THE SALINA CODE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. The City Clerk is hereby directed and authorized to immediately certify the assessment made in Section 1 of this ordinance to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, to be placed upon the tax rolls for collection subject to the same penalties and collected in the like manner as other taxes. 1 1 Section 3.
