8231 Operable VehiclesTED-SALINA 1 1 1 ORDINANCE NUMBER 8231 (Published in The Salina Journal i3 1972) AN ORDINANCE DEFINING AN INOPERABLE VEHICLE, AMENDING SECTION 23-172 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That Section 23-172 of The Salina Code is hereby amended to read as follows: repealed. "Section 23-172. Definitions. Inoperable means a condition of being junked, wrecked, wholly or partially dismantled, discarded, abandoned, or unable to perform the functions or purposes for which it was originally constructed, or for which it may have been subsequently modified. Vehicle means any automobile, truck, tractor, aircraft or motorcycle, which as originally built, contained an engine or designated to contain an engine, regardless of whether it contains an engine at any other time. Section 2. That existing Section 23-172 of The Salina Code is hereby Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper. (SEAL) Attest: l D. L.
